I really hope the team comes out and plays hard for him. He deserves it.

Interestingly enough, he's only 35 wins shy of tying Dominic Hasek for the most wins in team history.

Barring trades or catastrophes, Miller is poised to become the most winningest goaltender in Sabres history.

Lets start with #200 tonight.

Wow I can't believe Hasek only has 35 more wins than Miller. That's blowing my mind right now.

one thing to consider: hasek played in buffalo in the tie era. not every game had a winner.

its great for miller (i was at his first win :) ) and im happy for him. i wont even get into a comparison between the two. though i really want to.

No comparison necessary. Miller has played for the two most successful Buffalo teams in history, and routinely puts up 30 wins a season.

Want to blow your mind, Mike? Tim Thomas is .020 away from tying Hasek's career SV% record.

He's not breaking that record. He'd need to have already broken it in order to break it. His play will decline later in his career before he retires.

good lord!

i love thomas. good dude. want a mind blower yourself though? haseks career high in a season is .937%.. basically, he was allowing 63 goals per 1000 shots. i came a little just processing that.

lets not get away from millers great career though. hes had a great career. one of the best US born goalies ever.

I'm fully confident that Thomas' sv% will decrease with time. He won't end up in the .920s when his career is over.

Hasek didn't have the benefit of taking 30 games to a shootout and winning them.

200 wins in less than 6 full NHL seasons is pretty remarkable Even Brodeur didn't have 200 wins in his first 6 seasons. Makes it all that much harder to swallow watching them miss the playoffs (likely) 3 out of 4 years with Miller in his prime and playing well.
