Well, I won't be able to really follow the Sabres much anymore. I still love them, even though they frustrate me. But as a college student, I don't make much money. Gotta get rid of the cable. NHL Gamecenter won't let me watch the games since I'm in the region  I'll still try and watch highlights, but I won't be able to really follow them much anymore. I guess this is it, for now :(

 But the streams I find suck. I have never been able to consistently find good streams that actually let me watch the games. My computer is also not the fastest.

This. I actually love listening to the radio for games every once in a while (usually when they're on versus). It kind of reminds me of listening to Van Miller call the Bills as a kid when games were blacked out in Rochester, or when I was watching and just didn't want to deal with CBS/NBC/Fox announcers.

It's a phrase that basically means, if you wanna see the Sabres at the top, turn the rankings.

Now that we have HD on away games I don't listen to the radio as much, but I still like doing it. When I was a kid, that was my best option. My TV that I could watch games on was a little 13" black and white one that couldn't always get the game in when it was on, even with 3 rolls of aluminium foil wrapped around the antenna. So, the radio was the shit for me. That's why I don't have as many memories of Ted Darling as I wish I did; I just didn't get to listen to him that much.

Between ATDHE and Channelsurfing, there's usually a good feed.

Hey, I didn't even get to listen to Ted Darling once! So shut it! :D I've had RJ all my life!

Really? So when the Sabres played the Ducks, was that better or worse than usual? Or about the same. I don't know. Maybe it's my computer? It wasn't great for me. I could see where the players were, but that was about it.

I find TBN to be pretty solid. The odd time the feed is garbage or lags a bit but more often than not, it's really reliable.

Heck, I'm in Wisconsin. I never watch the Sabres! But I always listen to the feed from WGR. Paul Hamilton annoys the hell out of me but radio (and RJ) really is the way to go!

Alrighty. I'll tune in on the radio when I have to, and watch TBN when I can. Good thing they'll suck the rest of the year, anyway :(

honestly, this is coming on my fifth year of listening to the radio for hockey games

Honestly, even with a tv, the radio is still amazing. wgr has been a lifesaver and ill give up games i can watch on FSN-Pittsburgh, VS, and NBC for it, even tho i can watch em

I'm just spoiled by MSG, I guess. What happens when RJ leaves though?
