You are right but then why did the NHL put a rule in the NHL that hits to the head were illegal??

The rule restricts blindsided hits to the head. They were heading right at each other so it wasn't blindsided.

That rule is still stupid to me. A hit like Meyer did on Lucic could have the same affect a blindside hit if you ask me.
