I feel his play by play is good...but when his voice raises, it just makes me cringe.

Mike Lange is my all-time favorite but RJ has quickly become a close second. I've grown accustomed to RJ so all other guys calling the game are going to take some getting used too. it only took me 4 years to get used to Steigerwald calling the games in Lange's place, so I'll give this Mark another year or two... ;)

He's sharp and accurate (except when he miscalled Sekera for Sarich against Calgary), but very monotone and boring.

nope. he also calls the NCAA frozen four. versus would have alot better reviews had they offered him a job as well.
