Nolan Yonkman (career AHL defender, still loved here in Milwaukee)
Drury, Briere, both because I still only remember them as the players who brought greatness to Buffalo.
Alexi Yashin, no particular reason, just loved his creepy ass picture in NHL 09. And he's kind of current, still plays in Russia I think.
Dominik Hasek, the first player I actually knew by name.His style of goaltending influences mine, in soccer and my occasional hockey games.

Man has Kovalev looked awful the past few years. He looks like he can't even get around the ice without someone pushing him. If there ever was a poster child for the perceived laziness of European players, it is Kovalev.
