I try. :)

It's actually a bad habit. I'll go 4-6 months without taking any time off at all, then burn a week and lay on my couch for the entire time. I have no excuse, I get 4 weeks of vacation plus roll one over every year, so it's really 5. If I use 2.5 that's a lot.

now, in the highly unlikely event im actually able to attend, and skate, i have to ask, hows the ice? i ask, cause a rough ice tends to slice through my reconstructed ankle like a chainsaw. it burns so bad.

i skated on the ice on the cruise ship for a half hour, and i was hardly able to walk back to the bar to drink. i even considered.. NOT DRINKING! i know i know.

I don't know, I guess it depends on the weather conditions since it's an outdoor rink. They have a cute little baby zamboni that comes out every now and then.

The ice doesn't get that bad. It's just light skating, not a lot of people digging in and ripping it up.

I enjoy throwing a quick hip into people that show off on public rinks. You wanna play hockey? Go to a hockey rink.

no, just make sharp cuts when no ones around, go backwards to warm up, and make sharp stops when no ones around.

lol there's always a few dudes who show up with their hockey gloves just to show off that they're hockey players, even though you aren't allowed to play hockey at Rotary Rink.

I'll be there with my crap skating skills, making everyone else embarrassed to be seen with me. What time? I get out of work around 5.

i might be there. my little cousin is having her birthday party the 22nd, i think, but i might be able to make it. i fully anticipate being laughed at or ignored if i'm there. don't disappoint me.

We won't ignore you, but I'm sure everyone will be subject to being laughed at as we show off our mad skating skills.

Sounds like fun, I would, but I don't think you guys would wanna be seen with a 14 yr old guy, and I sure as hell don't wanna be skating with a bunch of people that are at least 10-20 years older than me. :P

Wish I could join you guys, but I live too far away.

I know I wouldn't be laughed at for my skating.
