Ok, maybe I'm forgetting some facts....but what's with the Kovalchuk hate. He wanted money - I understand that. And let's face it, he was worth quite a bit of money for his play. He wanted out of Atlanta - I also understand that. Crappy fanbase that doesn't show up, bad team around him, career seemingly going nowhere if he stayed. Soooo what's with people hating him so much?

Can't see it real good. Does it break Kovies stick, and then deflect in?? If so, I feel bad for the guy.

Edit: I'm with you on the Koviegate hate. He ain't the 1st guy to wait for big bucks. Anyone would take the best deal for them. Blame the drama on the media, NHL, etc.

The devils fanbase is worse than Atlanta's. At least the devil's garage full of cups gives their fans reason to show up...and they still don't.
