This is why i was so pissed at his remarks... although i may not have put it as nicely as phil. Im just sick of larry and he just needs to go away... I appreciate what BTG has done for the team and area! I don't want to diminish his importance at all or what he has done! Also remember BTG is going to make about $100 million give or take and has certainly profited from owning the team, so it's not like he isn't making out on the deal... very smart and sound business man, to say the least...

I also don't expect Terry to ride in and immediately piss rainbows and shit unicorns and expect the team to win the cup this year... i expect a methodical approach to the business at hand and expect him to do his due diligence in learning how the team is and has been won... where the short falls are... and what can be done to run a better ship and build a better team... Roam wasn't built in a day and i don't expect the Sabres to be fixed in a month....

I just think some of you guys are taking his statement the wrong way. He didn't mean it as, "You guys don't have to worry about anything else, such as winning a Cup or our players playing like crap." He meant it just in regards to changing owernship, and nothing else. Of course as fans we worry about other things than relocation. We worry about the state of our team and why some of our players aren't delivering. The list goes on... But I think Larry just meant in regards to a new owner taking over, that the team isn't going anywhere, so we shouldn't worry.

Doesn't really matter anyways, because I don't think there was a single Sabres fan out there who was worried about Pegula taking over.

I definitely didn't construe his comments as being pompous or anything. I think one worry a lot of people have is the team moving when new ownership comes in and Larry was just reiterating that it's not possible.

I guess I don't see it that way because that is what Galisano has said from the minute he purchased the team. He has always said that he would not sell the team unless it was guaranteed that the team would stay in Buffalo. That is why it never crossed my mind and I didn't think it would cross many of your minds either. I guess I was wrong.

I doubt he was trying to be pompous, I just took it that way. If they don't plan on making any comments about a possible sale then I would be content with "I have no comment at this time."
