if she wants to give updates, thats fine. seemed to me it was more of a "omg i knew him! gimme attention" thing more then a "hey, im close to the situation. heres what i know" updates.

Has there been another shooting by a conservative I don't know about? Because you're making it sound like those words have been acted upon when they haven't.

The guy that was arrested on the way to shoot up the Tides Foundation because Glenn Beck made up a bunch of crazy shit about them comes to mind quickly.

The point is you can't run around yelling about how Democrats and the left are socialists bent on turning out country into China or Nazi Germany without having some crazy people with mental problem take action because they want to DO something. We are normal, we can hear talking heads say stupid shit and know that it's stupid shit.

Others can't.

It goes both ways. The Left shouldn't make hyperbolic comments about the right either.

I agree. Olberman can raise decent points, he just fails when he takes it too far.

That's why I tend to like Maddow more. She's more even keeled, and doesn't (always) cross the line.

cbs news had a doctor on the phone who was at the gathering when the shooting occurred. he said she was conscious and moving her extremities at the scene. Talk about getting fucking lucky. Not many people live after being shot in the head let alone be conscious and moving
