So you like your hyperbole right out in front where you can get a good whiff of it...just like the average Glenn Beck fan.

Sometimes I wonder how Maddow can keep her composure when she has gay bashing politicians on the show, or politicians who have not supported gay rights.

It's kind of the American way though...

On a side note, Palin offering condolences doesn't mean she's writing her off, it just means that she's offering her condolences for the trauma and heartache that's happen(ed/ing).

Holy fuck, I think I just defended Sarah Palin. I'll choke myself later.

It's pretty impossible to disagree with that

The 9-year-old who was shot dead today at the Giffords event was featured in a book “Faces of Hope: Babies Born on 9/11."

What a terrible tragedy. The most disheartening thing is a 9 year old being killed. That shooter deserves no mercy. I can't even find words to describe how I feel about that guy.

I met Rep. Giffords and her husband, astronaut Mark Kelly, at a conference last year. While I may disagree with her on some aspects of space policy, she was a very pleasant person. Nice to everyone around, and she actually listened to what others had to say. Her husband is scheduled to command Endeavour's last mission in a few months, and I cannot begin to imagine what he is going through right now.

So there's been a prominent government official killed, bomb like things exploding for two straight days, and now congressmen and judges being shot in supermarkets. WTF is going on.

Uh...because she's a professional with a job.

If she lashed out, her show would become about her and her sexuality and it would last for maybe one month.

It was more of a rhetorical question...

When she interviewed this dude from Africa who was lobbying to pass a law which would make homosexuality illegal I was surprised how level headed she remained. This guy straight up wants all gays to be rounded up and either killed or inprisoned. The whole time I was like....does he know she's gay?

Most gut-wrenching thing I've heard so far: Interview with the mother of the 9 year old girl who was killed. I have no idea how she can even speak coherently.

Most moronic thing I've heard so far: Pundit arguing Arizona's conceal carry law contributed to this.
