If I was a betting man, he would have pretty darn good odds. :)

I'm with you two on this one...and if he does, it'll be his first ever.

He's also got a new career high in goals and has tied his career high in points. Oh yeah, 6 shots is his new single game high.

Eastern Conference Finals. Tickets available day of for every game. They do not deserve a team.

meh, the first sell out of the 07-08 season for the red wings was game 1 of the cup finals against the pens. shit happens. if they could cut the number of southern teams in half, id be happy.

Detroit is poor as fuck. The Raleigh area is one of the wealthiest metropolitan areas in the country. No excuses.

I know plenty of Hurricane Season ticket holders, basically everyone on my hockey team is one. Two of them work for the Hurricanes.

I'm glad they are here, they have a good team and good following. Without the team, the NC State basketball team would still have a shitty place to play in. The RBC Center is a nice facility anyways, and no it doesn't sellout, but to think Hockey in the Raleigh area has only been around for just over 10 years, it's doing fine.

detroit is, but it boarders on the richest county in the nation.

in all honesty, i think people here simply miss steve yzerman, and interest waned when he retired. that and tickets are too fucking expensive.

Phil, Metro Detroit is ranked 13th in the USA in GDP, the Raleigh area isn't even in the top 20.

LOL everyone on this board hates Detroit.

I guess everyone wants a Datsyuk/Zetterburg/Lidstrom.

Well if you're gonna talk about median income, Raleigh is 7th in the US according to Forbes.

Whoops GMP.

Didn't Lindy try this before and it failed epically?

Phil got my point. GDP isn't a regional thing. It's a national metric.

I wish the Sabres were run like Detroit, we'd have Stanley Cups.

I don't hate Detroit, or the Wings for that matter. Major props to Lidstrom. I think he's a class act.

I don't hate on Detroit, the city. Rust belt sticks together (except Pittsburgh...fuck em). But the Red Wings? Meh.
