Have you seen "The Capital"? HAHAHAHAHA....I mean what the fuck? I want to know who drew these and who piled the random powers together. As an artist, these guys are a joke.

yep. i have a couple theories about the creators.

1-they have a long list of random powers and if they manage to use them all they get a bonus at the end of the project. that would explain why most of the characters have random powers.

2-stan lee let his 5y-8yr old grandkids the lead character designers. he had them draw whatever the fuck they wanted then passed it to an intern to make it look "professionally" drawn.

i think the biggest problem with this is that the creators are trying to do to way to much all the way around.

that being said, i think a couple are "acceptable" designs. i dont mind The Capital all that much. its color is a bit much for me but i can deal with it. i think The Hurricane, The King, and the Canadian are also okay. The rest look like they belong in a mid 90's cartoon from Fox Saturday Morning cartoons.

If this guy was the Sharks "Guardian", I think their fans would be in trouble...

Image

Neat concept for a tattoo though. Besides the fact your fucking arm is missing, you have a tattoo to remind you that it was ripped from your body and eated.

I would have preferred some Ninja type character that was great with swords. LOL. What a joke.

Yeah, pretty cool of them to also take in the old Expos banners and hang them in the Bell Center as well.
For some reason though, Youppi always reminded me of Larry Robinson..

Puck Daddy has an article about this debacle today. The more I read about this the less I get the point.
