I bought the cheapest also, they are Easton S1's or something, still were 50 bucks though.

Feel good to me, but I wish they had a tie instead of a pull strap thing that's like a belt.

I was thinking of getting Either Reeboks, Easton's, Bauer's, or Warrior's.

Pants are Pants are Pants are Pants...try some stuff on, buy what feels comfortable. There's no secret weapon on Hockey Pants. Hell the pants I wear are 6 years old, and they still protect me fairly well, as much as they can anyway.

I was gonna say what kind of protection are you looking for? Obviously the more exspensive the pant the better they say they protect also.

To me, try and find a hockey pants that have a tie front instead of just pulling on a belt thing. Mine feel loose normally but good enough still, I dunno. I wish they were a tie front instead. Not complaining too much, they protect and feel fine.

Tackla's are expensive but they are also far and away the best pants available. Bauer's are nice and tight fitting while the RBK's are stylish and some even have a zipper that can extend the pant an extra inch if u grow. Warrior's suck shit, STAY AWAY.

So glad those never took off. I actually prefer to skate in shorts or hockey pants over pants, but I guess the only pants I wear when skating are jeans and I don't have wind breaker pants or anything that gives actual movement while skating.

I'm with ya man. On the ice or in street hockey, I need to wear either regular hockey pants or shorts. I just feel like I can't get the right range of motion wearing anything long.

But yeah, cooperalls were pretty terrible.

They're what everybody wears for inline. I'm one of only two or three players that wears ice hockey pants.

I think I would wear ice hockey pants for inline also if I played.

Just to make sure if I get knocked down at least my hips are much better protected then inline pants.
