Great effort by the little guy tonight...especially after the incident with Miller when he took down Gomez...and then drawing the late penalty that lead to the gamewinner.

Also, kudos to Myers tonight for actually using his big frame to his advantage on a few occasions. Flirted with a boarding penalty there at the end, but got away with it so whatevzz.

I thought he fought GIanta? No matter, that was a great game for Gerbe. That's the way he has to play to stay in the NHL IMHO. Fast and physical.

No, it was Gomez and it was awesome! Kudos, little dude.

No. I'm pretty sure they're talking a different incident where Gerbe and Gionta roughed each other up for a bit. They each got two for roughing.

Gerbe and Gomez were the ones that both got two for roughing.

It was nice to see Gomez punch Gerbe in the face because of him being a nuisance at the end.

And it was nice to see Myers just push whoever that was pretty much over with ease too.

Yeah, Gerbe really got under the skin of that piece of crap Gomez. Good to see that he's stepping up for Miller.

I loved watching Myers just pummel that guy along the boards. Luckily the refs pretty much put away their whistles by that point and let the game roll. He was pushing the limits.

For this, they both get

Glad to hear Gerbe got under Gomez's skin and glad they got the win.

Question though, I in Orlando, so I didn't see the game. Will Weber get suspended for the hit on Cam? Or was it just the way he fell and nothing will come of it other than the 2 minute minor her got? I see no real mention of it in any article I read and probably can't see the game till tonight when I get home.

From the box score it looked like Gerbe drew 4 penalties. Nice kid.

It didn't look nearly as bad as the NHL ON the Fly announcers kept going on about. Did Weber need to do it...no, but rubbins' racin'.

I think Kaleta has more to worry about since he is a "repeat offender" in the eyes of the league

Gerbs has the tools. Just needs to put in those efforts.

Nice job.

1 game at the most but it was half as bad as the hit that knocked Roy out for the season and that guy didn't even get a game.

Yep.

I still feel that way. He played well last night, and deserves to be commended for that. But, he's here to score, and he's not doing it.
