Players play with bruised ribs pretty often. It sucks, but it's doable.

Now clarified "Weeks" :(

What is the injury?

Seems like bruised ribs to me.

Yea, Hecht is a much better winger, can play center but really not preferred.

You can play with bruised ribs. That's not a weeks injury.

I'd bet wrist or shoulder.

Cracked ribs would be weeks, no way someone would play through that pain.

I think Connolly did it one game a year ago and sat out rest of season since he also had his bone spurs done then.

Well cracked and bruised are two different things.

Football players play with cracked and broken ribs. McNabbs aren't fully healed, and Steve Young did it all the time. Throw on a Flak jacket.

Can I just say that I love that there are only three guests in here right now. Because I do.

Okay, here's the Vanekless line-up as I predict it...

Mac/Roy/Staff
Hecht/Connolly/Pom
Paille/Kennedy/Grier
Ellis/Goose/Kaleta

Lindy moved Hecht up tonight after Vanek got hurt, so I'm guessing he'll keep with that. I fucking still can't stand Hecht, but his retarded contract speaks loudly.

That Paille Kennedy Grier line should be solid, at worst a good defensive line.

Not bad, As long as Hecht is on the wing I like it.

With him in center I'm disgusted. Hopefully a simple injury, nothing too serious.

It seemed like Vanek was clutching his arm

I actually like Paille much better than Hecht.

They won't say, but now he's out for "weeks".

I'd love that line. Paille drives to the net, and Kennedy finds him.

Ya think? Not like that "Fuck You Jochen" thread didn't remind me of that ;)
