I'm not sure where you're from gr8, but NY isn't getting 4G for a while. I don't think you'll be worrying about 4G speeds for a couple years.

Until Apple of Verizon says it, it's only a rumor. All the iPhone 5 LTE talk is simply conjecture.

well, i think this is big for two reasons. A. people thought LTE/4G enabled iphones were 18 months off. it appears, though unproven, its 6 months off.

B. people said verizon wouldnt get the iphone5 when the iphone 5 is released for ATT. that appears to be untrue as well.

They won't release an LTE iPhone that less than 25% of their US customer base can use this summer. They'll wait until LTE is more widespread before they do that.

doesnt LTE already reach 1/3 of the US population, with that number increasing to 50%+ by this time next year?

im willing to bet the iphone5 is LTE enabled considering they wanted it in the verizon iphone4.

edit: yes. LTE already covers over 100 million at launch, that number to be 175 million by the end of december.

He's in Silicon valley, so admittedly they have a good network up there....but still, damn.

figures, they have 4G surronding my zipcode, but only 3G where i am(south hills)

i think im just gonna keep my X. as much as i want the t-bolt, i cant see it being THAT much better for the 85 bucks ill have to spend for re-stock + difference in price cause of 4g.

im just outside the city, but my phone is so jacked up im just not going to be able to wait... its weird, the phone decided to have horrible reception in my house... its pretty crappy out and about and works ok with synch in my car... i dont really get it... have never had any issues until a few weeks ago and it seems to be getting worse... even after i hang a call up the thing still crackles and gets all staticy.... its odd....

I'm going to get an iPhone for sure after playing with one again today. I dunno to just wait for the 5 for ATT or go for the 4. I was playing with Android and then iOS and their is still no comparison of how smooth, easy, and simplicity in iOS compared to Android.

To me, the iPhone has the best OS on it period. Android is close, but it's still a bit confusing to me to use. Yea you can hide your icons better in Android, but the touch required for the iPhone is so soft too.

I really do think when this hits Verizon, so many people will dump Android and go straight to the iPhone.
