I saw plenty of Buffalo jerseys at the fan fest, with one Cane jersey in the family.

I saw a dad and daughter wearing Buffalo jerseys, and the wife a Canes jersey.


I'm just saying that there's a reason why hockey is popular there other than the 2006 Cup win.

It's not just because of Buffalo transplants.

They have plenty of youth hockey programs and rec leagues here. The Hurricanes have been here for 13 years now with two Stanley Cup runs. I know plenty of people who are hockey fans born and raised in the South, many became fans because of the Hurricanes and their kids play hockey.

But the Guardian Project is a joke. That was really stupid.
