As diehard fans, we say all the time what we do if we owned the team.. Now one of those fans has become our actual owner.. If that wasn't sweet enough, he has crazy riches and makes risky(but effective) business decisions..

Personally, I'm 'wait and see.' It certainly looks good, but wanting to win and actually winning are two different things. There are plenty of fans that would make terrible owners.

I'm kinda feeling the same way but hey I don't mind having a fan as the owner. At least you know they are going to try to make the team the best they can. Doesn't always work out but they try.

All I ask of Tom is make this team competitive year in and year out and please please please bring back the scouting department.

If he legacy has more to do with the product on the ice and not ticket sales and revenue....then I'm good with it. So like posted above...I'm in the "wait and see" camp.

I'm not even thinking this season counts as LQ, DR, and TG will only take Pegula's input on trade deadline deals, they don't have to take his advice....what a crock! I mean you're out the door but they want one last change to screw up the roster and screw over fans.

This is awesome, and I dont think we should necessarily use past instances of fans owning teams as an indication of what the T-pegs era is going to be.

Really, we went from a disinterested Floridian billionaire, to an interested (northern pennsylvania?) billionaire, that right there is a clear improvement, it HAS to give us a better chance to build a competitor than the priorities of the BTG administration.

I'm very optimistic for this.
