Well, it was a great showcase game for Pegula.

Regier has built a team that can't come up with the goals they need when they need them, and a team that can't hold a lead when they need to hold one.

now that the game's over, there are a few differences between this goal and the break he had tonight.
1) against boston, he was coming down the right wing with the puck to the outside.
2) against boston, he didn't wind up for a big slapper, it was just a quick snapper.

i think he should have done something similar to what cooke did for the game winner here. looked like he had a step on both the d.

anyway pittsburgh just showed us how to win a hockey game. while they were down they played gritty and sucked us into taking cheap shots. while they were up they were disciplined. i don't think we even got a full powerplay, and it wasn't because of poor officiating.

Games like this frustrate me, because the Sabres didn't play bad at all, and the refs IMO showed a little bias. Refs have to be consistent, and they for sure called some and let some go.

Sabres powerplays: 1
Pens powerplays: 4
thats not including the cancelling out ones..

I mean, when Rick sits there and points out ref fuck ups like that, there's got to be something wrong.

If you want power play time...EARN IT. Out work the opposition in the offensive zone. Don't disappear for 40 fucking minutes a game and then bitch about not getting calls. And WTF is wrong with Ryan Miller's glove hand in the second?

I hope Buffalo gets swallowed up by a giant octopus! I'm gonna play some left 4 dead bitches.
