I was just listening to this Dr. on the radio talking about torn ACLs and surgeries with knee ligaments. He said that many, many athletes who get those kind of knee injuries and have reconstructive surgery end up in almost debilitating pain later in life because of the stress they put their reconstructed knees under by continuing their careers as professional athletes.

Looks like Oechkin finally got his just deserts, kneeing piece of shit got kneed by Cooke on a very dirty hit. I hope he's done for the season, he's had that coming for too long.

Couldn't believe when I got up and read this shit today. That fucking sucks. Malkin has always been my favorite non Sabre, but to see any star player go down with an injury like this, that could very well shorten his career, SUCKS! I'd be willing to trade away a couple guys, like Pommers to take a gamble, but not Vanek, Myers, Ennis, or obviously Miller. I was thinking about if I would trade Vanek for him, but I just don't think I could pull the trigger.
