It is not much of a tall order. Wise general managers can clear dead weight while bringing in missing pieces to win. Darcy has done it before, and he will be directed to do it again if he desires to keep his job.

I can totally see people in the future blaming Pegula for making "fan decisions" whenever they don't agree with something he does or if something he does fails. Just like how fans complained that Golisano was too complacent and didn't care enough about the team, fans will complain that Pegula is too much of a "fan" to make smart business decisions.
