Some people won't care, and some people aren't on their 2 year contract anymore.

If people want something, they'll dump money to get it.

nevermind haha.

plenty of people are going to run out and get the CDMA iphone. thats a givin. but a large shift isnt going to happen. considering the iphone wont even be the best phone for verizon, its not going to make a huge dent. the majority of the people who want the iphone probably already has one on ATT. they probably settled for ATT to get it.

Probably so Mike, but you got the people who want it with Verizon but wouldn't change.

I dunno, I'm gonna get one regardless soon enough, when I can afford it.

as i said, there are plenty of people who will go out and get this iphone. theres also alot of people, like myself, who wanted an iphone, but never got one, and now am a believer of android.

whats great about android, is you can also get a superior OS imo on mid level phones. you dont have to drop 199 bucks to get android. on the other hand, there are android phones on their way out that surpass the iphones options and in terms of what you can do.

im also a believer the new windows phones are going to do pretty well for itself in the next few years if they stick with it.

I have no faith in Windows at all with a mobile devices.

And I still think Android isn't as smooth as iOS.

All personal preferences though. I like the iPhone better after playing with android still.

I'm with you, Skyline.

The iPhone runs so much more predictably in my eyes. It's smooth, the touch screen is very responsive, and it's easy to navigate.

I'm honestly not surprised by those figures, my one friend who has the Droid said he wants to get an iPhone with Verizon actually.

Yea, that's only one person out of millions though.

I'm still getting one on AT&T when I can.

The important thing to remember about phones is that not all networks work the same in different areas.

Where I live, AT&T is awesome. I have 3G everywhere and it's fast as hell.

Verizon is about the same, but their 3G isn't as fast.

But that's just small town USA. Verizon is obviously better than AT&T in other areas.

Got the VZW i phone today.... aaannnnnd I cant use it.... per the apple help people... because my macbook pro is a few years old now its got an older mac OS... which means it wont update to itunes 10... I can down load itunes 10, but loose my library... and you can not down load the OS update on line... you need a disk... and you can not activate the iphone with out itunes 10... first time ive been disappointed in Apple...

They have a software up date function... I use it... it tells me everything is OK, no updates needed... why the hell wouldn't tell me its time to go and get an update disk... of just freaking update... gotta say im a lil disappointed....

You don't lose your library by downloading a new version of iTunes.

Verizon iPhone can theoretically support both CDMA and GSM making it a world phone...but Apple is only enabling CDMA.
