Good, i hope nobody else gets hurt for at least 20 more games.
Injuries kill the team every year.

The next injury???
Tallinder will re-break his broken broke arm again going back to collect the puck for an icing which he trips over the puck and falls into the boards.

I hope that the "it's just a tweak thing" is correct. On the evening news here in Austria they just announced that it is a shoulder injury.

May just be a bad bump. I've been wiped out along the boards thinking I wouldn't be able to finish a game, but rotating the shoulder usually helps. This is good news for sure! If not to see him in the lineup against the Isles, then maybe the Trashers!

As early in the season as it is, and with us playing the Islanders and Thrashers this weekend, I would prefer they err on the side of caution rather than get him back asap, but thats just me!!

if I had to guess on the injury, it's a pretty bad stinger from the hit he had on Datsyuk. It wasn't with the greatest form, but still was a pretty decent hit.

I agree. Best hit Vanek ever threw, and it KO's him for a few games. He'll never hit again...

To be honest, it wasn't like the hit was an overly planned hit, and Datsyuk should be be pissed at whomever dished him that pass, because Vanek was right there, and just kinda dropped his shoulder into him, but took all of Pavel's force right onto that shoulder. At first I thought it may have been ribs, but the more I look at it, it's definitely his shoulder, and it's either a stinger, or some sort of muscle strain. So it's one of those day to day injuries.
