definitely. They looked like Greg Louganis with all those dives

It's a phrase that basically means, if you wanna see the Sabres at the top, turn the rankings.

Wel they do own one of the biggest divers in the NHL in Downie and Stamkos.

I guess the stick in the legs didn't happen.

It did and yes Rolo did embellish but really come on that was interference

How so? If Staff isn't hooked, he doesn't hit Rolie.

Look at Stafford again while going down, he knew what he was doing by sticking out his leg when he went down.

Haven't you ridden one of those circle things like in elementary school, you get spun around fast enough and you want to fly off. Think of that when watching staffs legs fly out.

You mean the rules of physics???? I guess hockey players are suppose to be exempt from those rules

Oh you haven't heard? Ice doesn't only have the smallest coefficient of friction, it has the power to overcome physics!

Well when you can't play defense, I guess you try to get as many power plays as you can?

I mean, wow, that was some really bad defense on Tampa's part, especially after the Leopold tally.

I mean you can't leave Vanek all alone in front of the net like that.

I didn't think Hedman took any contact to the face when he got roughed by Stafford.

This is what I don't get. Ok, say the goal was a bad goal (it wasn't)...so F'n what!!! I mean how many times do teams interfere with Miller. Either Chara gets paid each time he touches Miller or he just loves to rub up against him b/c he's so dreamy around the eyes!

What do you do then...you buckle down and get that goal back...you don't fall apart and loose your composure. The Bolts have more than enough fire power to get that goal back and a more than enough divers to get a PP....how about not waiting until you're down 4 to get a cheap PP?

I know what you're talking about. From one of the views, it kind of looked like he might have swung his leg out.

But the more I watched it, the more I thought it was physics, and not Stafford. Either way, he got hauled down in front. It's a power play or a goal, and a momentum swing.

I'm not disagreeing. Tampa failed to gain any momentum after the Roli-oopsie incident. These are all good things to the Sabres.

Exactly...and the Sabres pounced all over them. They could see the cracks starting to form in the Bolt's composure and the took it too them....good things indeed.

The Sabres took it to a team on the ropes and buried them...something we've not seen enough of this season...but lately, its been looking good.

Stafford earned his third hat trick of the season. Vanek is due for one, but is getting back into the swing of things.

All tears do is melt the ice. Refs in hockey and football suck, but they're running the show, so being a fucking crybaby does no good at all. I guess the players make up for it by embellishing, diving, and turning their backs. In the end, they're all douches in my book.

As for the game, wth?? Maybe Derek Afinogenov really is costing Drew Gretzy and Vanek a lot of production. Imagine if we had of had a real center(ya ya, I know DR IS a real 1st line center just look at the stats) between these guys. I really didn't think this team had it in them, but Vanek, Staffy, Leo, and Monty have all elevated their games. If Ennis had any finish in him this team would be a threat. So glad we didn't trade Stafford, but it looks like we should have already extended him. Regier is obviously gonna wait until he's worth enough that he can justify letting him go, or maybe he's just waiting for K. Lowe to give him a ring. With the silly amount of hatties Drew has had lately, I'd not be surprised to see an offer sheet from a team with cap space.

PS, imagine what the TB boards would be like tonight if they had any fans.
