I really don't think it's a shock that some of these younger guys got lousy attitudes. That's why I really like that Scotty Niedermayer is letting cam Fowler live with him. You can't risk losing defensemen like Fowler or Subban because of maturity issues.

Wow. I wonder if things are going to start collapsing up there.

I know this isn't our dads hockey league anymore, but PK is earning a rep as a douchebag pretty quick. When it comes from your veteran teammates, it's time to look in the mirror. I have a feeling that Gill has been thinking this for a while, and this was probably the last straw.

I respect Gill's intentions but not his methods. Ripping a teammate like that through the media is even worse than what Subban did. And he took it too far with this quote:

Subban is a douchebag. I've seen several habs games this season and he throws some questionable hits, has the occasional cheap shot but he never drops the gloves. You can be a cocky douchebag, but at least don't turtle if someone challenges you because of it.

Regarding Gill. I don't think he meant that they should hold the door for him, he just stated that he had to do it and that there was a different kind of respect back in the days...Throwing your jersey on the floor as a rookie will get you in trouble in a lot of locker rooms and the fact that Gill confronted him in front of the media just shows how much he dislikes him.

I don't know what Gill was implying, that's why those things should never be aired out in front of the media because you open up yourself and the entire locker room too all kinds of scrutiny and ridicule. It sounds to me like Bourque, Ellet, Gill, and Subban are all complete jagoffs and they should all get together and have a reality TV show that ends with them all driving over a cliff in a car.
