Woa, Preds look like they're aiming to be contenders. This also works out for his family situation too, I would assume. I don't think this will be the only big name leaving Ottawa before the deadline.

Yeah, that's a legit move. I've liked Fisher for a while, even though he played for those bitch ass Senators.

Totally agree. Kovalev will be gone soon as well i'm guessing. Fisher is a strong two way player even though his stats aren't that big this year.
I'm just throwing this out there but Fisher stats are just like Connolly's this year.

Fisher 14 goals and 10 assists 24 pts
Connolly 8 goals and 14 assists 22 pts

Should be interesting to see what his return could possibly be on Connolly!

I like Fisher too. Very skilled two way player in my opinion. Not big numbers but a very solid player.

You guys talking about Connolly's value are missing one key point here. Fisher has 2 more years on his deal, where Connolly is a UFA to be. Sure numbers are similar, and cap hit is similar, but those 2 years give a lot of additional value to Mike Fisher.
