Kanye West sucks; I don't listen to rap; but when it is played, this douche bag rienforces why I hate that shit. When a retarded man like Shaquille O'Neil raps, it only reminds me why I feel this way.....

You know, I went past the "I only like white people" comments he always makes, and even bought his last album, but enough is enough.

People I think you're all missing the real tragedy here. The man was wearing sunglasses at night while he was inside a building. That is reason enough to dislike someone.

Yeeaaaah, not liking Kanye. At all. I don't care for Taylor Swift's music one bit and don't find her original at all (nobody else mainstream is right now, either, so that is no knock on her in comparison to everyone else there), but seriously?! She doesn't deserve that...

The only hip hop I listen to is Kid Cudi and Atmosphere, particularly Atmosphere... I'm glad for it.

I'm watching the VMAs tonight for the first time since I was twelve. I haven't listened to the radio even once in well over a year now. I feel so lost with all these new singers (I will NOT call them artists; there's a reason I stopped listening to it all lol).... It's amusing me. I just can't believe I am even watching this right now. But I want to see that trailer that I am sure MTV is saving for the end, because I saw the little ten-second snippet and was like ".....ASDOFIJASDIOFJASODFIJAS." Yeah, anyway. I am watching the MTV VMAs right now. Forget that. I'm watching MTV right now. WOW.

Edit: Oh, at least Muse is getting some popularity now, apparently. I know it's due to Twilight, but still. I've got a couple of their albums, the 2003 one and the one before that, and they're great. I don't know about their music after that, but those, at least, are great records. And I like Kid Cudi, obviously, so that was nice I guess.

Taylor Swift is original, she has written all of her own songs and sang them since day one, she is an amazing singer.

If for no other reason, I think Vin Diesel is ace because he (no lie, this shit is legit) was a fucking DUNGEON MASTER and is still a Dungeons and Dragons enthusiast. He also formed a video game company before celebs getting into game design was en vogue.

And, Jael, Muse is to be pitied for blowing up because Supermassive Black Hole is on the Twilight soundtrack. Their new record comes out on Tuesday!

So they're still good? Score! I am planning on using any excess money at the end of this semester on music rather than books... I'll have to pick up their latest album.

Ok hypothetical time: What would have happened had Kanye West beat Beyonce? Would he have to hate on himself? Does he already hate himself. Would he yell at Beyonce for not winning? These are the questions that plague mankind.

They're fantastic! Absolution and Black Holes & Revelations are both excellent records, and HAARP is one of the best live records I've ever heard (the best is undoubtedly Alive by Daft Punk).

They have three records prior to Absolution, but I'm not really familiar with any of them.

You see this is why I get upset when I'm reminded that I wasn't born sooner. I should have been born in the 50s. That way I wouldn't have missed out on important moments in human history like Sunglasses At Night. I bet when that video first came out cancer disappeared. Only to reappear on the block with the "new kids."

I was wearing my shades at night, and started singing that. Made some people chuckle. Life is good.

I totally went through a Sunglasses At Night Phase when I was 11-12. I liked it because it was like I was hiding, because people couldn't see my eyes, they couldn't see me, and I didn't like looking them in the eye anyway.

Yeah. We all have our moments. Haha. Though, I still often want to do that. So, maybe it's not a moment but more like a life.
