Sorry, I didn't mean to Rothlisberger your wife's computer... it was a slip of the key board (the s and c are pretty close)... hey it only took me 2 hours to update the OS and then update the software (1.7 gigs in software updates, lol)... its a good dick, just what my computer needed... web still runs a bit choppy... but over all pleased with the updates and iPhone that followed...

I'm on AT&T anyways. I need a new computer is all, and I'll get one soon enough and the iPhone. Thankfully I got my job at Best Buy so I'm gonna buy a computer on discount that is actually nice.

Doubt I'll get a Macbook since I doubt they receive much of a discount on them. But a cheaper HP or something.

If you buy an iPhone at an AT&T / Verizon store, they'll do the activation part for you, so you don't have to have iTunes at home. I'm 95% sure that if you buy it an an Apple store they do as well, but I'm not 100% sure.

If you get it on an internet order, you'll need iTunes.

Oh, and the reports on day one are coming out. The lack of lines in Apple stores is being attributed to the fact that the Verizon pre-order system actually worked (unlike the AT&T iPhone 4 launch) and many more people were able to pre-purchase and not have to show up at a retail outlet to actually buy the thing.

If you buy HP, make sure it's HP, and not Compaq; the Compaq laptops really aren't worth the deal you get on them.

I don't think sooner rather than later, but it could definitely go that way. I know the game quality isn't quite there yet, but I have about 10 games on my Droid that I love. I don't even consider getting a handheld anymore - all the time-wasting I want is on my phone, ESPECIALLY with Square-Enix rumored to be launching some FF Tactics games.

It's been announced for months that Sony was making a phone.

Some have even said it would be android based, which would never happen, Sony makes a good OS on the PS3 and PSP. They don't need help in developing an OS.

Well I heard about it for months and how android was possibly going to be on it, which I still don't see why Sony would do that. Their OS for the PSP and PS3 is not bad at all.

But didn't know they confirmed it today, still thought they confirmed it a long time ago.

I don't stay up to date on phones, the only one I'm going to get is the iPhone 4 or 5 now.
