He's getting Pominville money or he's going to arbitration. Reverse the 3 and the 5, that's what's worrisome.

Pominville went from the Senator killer to rather pedestrian and his shot went from "laser guided" to "Hecht" on the accuracy meter in short order. I'm hoping that the recent good things we've seen are a taste of things to come from Jason.

I think we have to pay Drew. Otherwise, you just going to use a first round pick or even more money on a FA to try and replace him.

Drew won't get anywhere near 5 million a season for this one good year.

Remember, the evidence used in arbitration if he elects to go to it, also includes YOUR PREVIOUS YEARS stats and other comparable players salaries in that stat range. If he gets over 4 million you walk without a doubt, or an offer sheet of anything over 3.5 you take the picks.

He would be stupid to try and command anything higher than 3 million if he wants to continue to play.
