Holy fuck, that was the most tense game I've seen in a while and that OT killed me. I couldn't handle it. I had to leave the room after the 7th round.

they got paid twice...once from the NHL and once from Pierre Gauthier.

Great shootout thriller. I was about to turn it off after Plekanec scored.

...and boy, Vanek made it look easy to score on a shootout attempt. It seemed that he didn't even shoot it with full force.

He has the "Around the World" and the "Slow Comfortable Screw." Either that or maybe call it, "The Flicka." He just made that look too easy on a top netminder.
