Because we may have had 1-2 players not playing well. We have over half the skaters sucking out loud tonight. I just don't get where there heads are at...I mean they make the worst decisions on the ice...and then make them again and again.

If we had Hank and Toni that shorty doesn't happen either.

1. Couldn't make the outlet pass and it got worse as the game went on. And come on..4 passes to get it out of the zone when we start from behind the net and after the forechecker peels off. That right there...they didn't want to play tonight.

2. Stood around with our thumbs up or butts until the 2nd forechecker come in. I mean these are things that should never happen. Pominville gets his pocket picked from behind the net because his head is in the clouds. What's this thing we've been doing where we keep cycling the puck deeper int our own zone as soon as a forechecker gets near the puck? I mean we practically set up another team's cycle once we cough up the puck because we're a bunch of Sallys.

3. Drop pass after drop pass...think the Leafs picked up on that? But we still did it.

4. How many times did a Sabre skate himself into a corner or out of real estate?

5. We let their best player open in the slot. For all the good things Connolly did tonight...that pretty much negated them.

6. But the worst thing is that it only looked like we put out our best effort after we eff'd something up? If we just took it to the Leafs and didn't get cute...we win that game.

It's wierd but who else notice's that when Kaleta is back just doesn't seem like he does much out there. Maybe it's just me.

Okay how does this sound to you? The Leafs had more jump, won more battles, and skated harder all night.

This team needs to move Connolly before the deadline no matter what. People keep thinking this team is good. They ain't bad but not a team that's going to make a deep run in the playoffs.

They need to get something in return for Connolly though. Simply removing him doesn't solve any problems.
