It might have been but in all honesty this team isn't good enough for a deep run. If 06-07 couldn't get there what makes you think this team can. Changes need to be made and I know all are not going to be made at the deadline but I would rather go with some of the younger guys from Portland and unload some of are unrestricted players and get something back for them. But that's just me.

I can take a loss to the Habs, even to the Caps or Pens. But to drop one to this fucking team?

It's been how many minutes and I haven't spoken two words to Tara, and she is sitting right next to me.

This game is going to sit with me for a while now. God fucking help those who cheer for the leafs at hockey on Sunday.

God help them.

BULLSHIT! The Leafs played Boston last night! I dont want to hear oh they were tired... fuck that...

Okay how does this sound to you? The Leafs had more jump, won more battles, and skated harder all night.

spot on

A pick would be fine.

Mike Fisher, similar numbers and salary, got a 1st. Really changed my mind on Connolly's value.

mike fisher plays more of a two way game compared to connollys offensive minded game.

I'm not asserting that they're similar players. Just saying that if Fisher can get moved for that, someone like Connolly could get moved for something. I thought he was unmovable honestly, too much $$ for not enough production. I'm thinking I was wrong.

I agree with Squanto on this. I didn't think he would get much especially because of his pay. But he might be able to fetch a 1st rounder i would move him in a heartbeat.

Every game 'could be that game' if they just miss. I never like that argument. If they miss by 1 or 2 points, you could point to probably 10 instances where they gave up a point somewhere, or even that their opponent earned a point somewhere they probably shouldn't have.

I'm not arguing, just stating my opinion.
