i have to be in the perfect conditions to sleep. i NEED sound, or else it will not happen. once i fall asleep, everything wakes me up if it is outside the normal sounds like the fan i run. the clicking of a pull chord of my blinds wakes me up instantly.

I actually need to be running a fan to sleep too. Haha. That's how my parents always got me up when I was younger. Just flip the fan off and I was up right away.

I need absolute silence and pitch darkness to sleep. I've gotten a little better at sleeping under different conditions, but when I'm in my own home...I need everything to be silent and dark.

That helps me, too. That's why I am painting my bedroom a darkish burgundy and staining the floors "espresso" (which means black to me), and getting curtains that will keep out the sun.
Honestly, I wouldn't mind trying to sleep in a coffin. As long as I could get fresh air and it wasn't too hot, it seems like I could sleep well in an enclosed place like that.

I roll around all over the place in my sleep. Also, if I'm sleeping in the same bed with someone, I have a nasty habit of kicking/punching them in my sleep. Woops?

I prefer darkness and very loud music to sleep. If I'm not driving I can fall asleep on long trips easily.

The couch and floor are nice, and in class too.

That's dangerous.

I sleep wrapped up on my one side of my bed, always need to pull the covers over me from the right side and sleep on the left side. Plus I'm a very heavy sleeper, it's juts if I'm trying to fall asleep I hate light of any source in my room, glowing stars annoy the shit out of me and anything glow in the dark too.

Once I'm asleep only an alarm will wake me or in time, or someone coming and opening my door.

So he's asleep at the wheel for 30 seconds?

Same here, I like darkness, but I do like white noise.

Memorial service for my cousins' brother. :( He was there for my favorite cousin (growing up we always did everything together) over the past year as he's completely turned his life around, in a way that I desperately wanted to be but couldn't because, um, I'm in Indiana. I'm sooooo proud of my cousin and was always really appreciative of his friend for being there for him like that. He was absolutely his best friend since he was a kid. My aunt and uncle always have at least 4-5 kids at their house that aren't theirs at any given time; it's always been that way. I loved it when I was a kid. He was one of them... He was considered a part of the family; my cousins have always referred to him as a brother. Wouldn't mention so much about him, but I hung out with him quite a few times, and he really was a great kid who would do anything for anyone. There's a lot of violence that goes on in that town amongst the 15-25 crowd, but he was everybody's friend and a complete peacemaker.

He spent all day Saturday and Saturday night and Sunday at my aunt and uncle's house, and Monday he died. Worst possible thing that could have happened to my cousin... Now that he can't be there for him, I want to be even more so than before, but I'm stuck here only able to have conversations on Facebook as usual. His younger siblings aren't taking it well at all, either, because he was their brother too and they really looked up to him, and they're so young to have to deal with all of this, but I guess worse things happen every day... Just keep them all in your thoughts and/or prayers, I guess... They couldn't need it more. I wish more than anything that I could be there tomorrow.

Ran 5.8 miles yesterday after not running for months. My legs have been killing me all day.
