Um... Why do we hate someone for making a custom jersey again? Did I miss the whole "this is treason of the highest order to the gallows with ye for wearing this" speech?

come on man, a custom jersey of the new owner with the sale price as the number... really... I don't see any "Knox" jerseys and they gave us the Sabres... I dont see any BTG jerseys and he saved the Sabres from moving... It just doesn't seem right... I dont mind the t-shirt... but a custom jersey is just nonsense....

so Im now going to get a custom "Knox" 71 and a "BTG" 11 ....

Good question, perhaps there was a particularly egregious misspelling accompanying this Jersey purchase?

I won't go to sacrilegious, but I'll board the 'fucking stupid' train.

Anger management is a necessity if this pisses people off this bad.

my biggest issue is the numbering. there is no good reason, ever, to put 3 numbers on a jersey. its retarded. the name, whatever, its the new owner and the dudes happy about it, good for him (im sure phil would still disagree though). if he had put a different number on it then i would have found it passable..stupid, but passable.

...Not a Foul, by the way: a "Golisano 03-11" BuffaSlug protest jersey. (C'mon, we know it's out there.) Not that the guy shouldn't be lauded for "saving" the franchise back in 2003, but could there be any greater symbol of the Sabres having lost their way than his name on the back and the Angry Cashew on the front?

Angry Cashew! Now thats funny! Never heard that one!

I still like the Golisano 11 jersey idea... lol or would it be 7.... which chapter of bankruptcy did he buy the team out of?.... hahaha

Worst part about it is that the kid who made it is some punk ass high school kid.

Even worse.

So what, he spends mommy's money, big deal.

If he wanted to do it let him. Who cares what people do to their jerseys, it's their money, their jersey, and their own thought. If you wouldn't do it, then don't do it, stop bitching about it then, it's not going to change anything on that jersey already.

I think having the purchase Price on there is a little dumb, but I have a hard time having a problem with it. There are many members of the organization that we appreciate, but don't really have any way of showing it. It's not that much different than all those people that sport Lindy Ruff jerseys, or anyone that might want to sport say a Jeanneret #71, or a Tsujimoto #74.

Why don't you take a deep breath? I'm not bitching about it. I'm simply pointing out the absurdity of it.

Uh.... Lindy Ruff played the game, and played for this team. That's an entire different animal.

Half the people that sport those jerseys are wearing them for Coach Ruff, not Player Ruff. I should have been more specific in highlighting that group I guess.

Always was a fan of rental, Joe Juneau. Mainly from seeing him play at RPI in his college days

well, if montreal keeps retiring numbers, well soon see three digit numbers become standard

They're still wearing era-appropriate Ruff 22 jerseys. There is nothing appropriate about a Pegula jersey.
