It appears there are several angles reporting separate ideas. The only thing most of us will accept is the earliest date the change in ownership occurs. The quicker the team is owned by Pegula, the better things can start working.

The reporting is perfectly reasonable.

There are multiple components to the sale process. It's not like walking into the store and picking up a Snickers.

Once league approval is complete, which should be today, they can proceed with the financial transfer of the business. That's Tuesday.

Poor Larry and Darcy cannot do that. They would spend hours trying to decide what color of Moron & Moron's to acquire.

According the Darren Dreger, the NHL is currently tallying the fax vote.

Apparently counting the YES/NO checkboxes on 29 pieces of paper is hard.

It is hard if one of those votes includes the Sabres organanization. Since it cannot vote because they are the entity being voted on, the voting process is running easier.

Are you high or something?

I said 29. There are 30 NHL teams. I'm perfectly aware that the Sabres can't vote, as is the NHL.

I said if the Sabres were included in a vote for the sale of another team, it would run more difficult because of someone's incompentence with a fax machine.

People still bitch about that?

They lost out on a player that has done nothing in the NHL. Big deal.

Blame the NHL for requiring fax machines for player transactions in the age of email.

What good is email if someone still cannot advance in technology with the fax machine? We are in the 2010s now, not the late 1980s.

Wow... a fax machine jammed, so our GM is automatically a retard.

I love the level of discussion we are able to have around here.

The fax machine is the least of many problems surrounding a cocnerning GM.

It's 50 degrees where I am, the sun is shining and the snow has melted.

Hail Pegula.

It's a phrase that basically means, if you wanna see the Sabres at the top, turn the rankings.

Mike Zigomanis. Drafted by Buffalo in he 2nd round back in 99. Took forever for them to come to contract terms, and only agreed inside the last hour before the deadline that would have sent him back into the draft. They didn't get the paperwork filed with the league in time because of a problem with the fax machine, so he went back into the draft.

He's done nothing in his career. However, Regier is still shit on for it.

The vote for Pegula was unanimous.
