Well, I think the team looks uninspired again tonight which is a real shame. There aren't any excuses for lazy penalties and failed power play chances. They have to will themselves to play better in the 3rd, get the crowd on their side, and win this game.

That, being on the road, and fatigued guys are usually the same speed. If you're confused, remember how much more energy MTL had in the 1st, then it evened out?

We'd get run through the boards as this type of effort is exactly what Milan Lucic likes to feed off of....slow moving prey. Thornton would hammer Gaustad per the usual and Kaleta would get into a 2 fights and be the only one to show that he had a sack.
