I really like the new owner, he seems like a great guy, his wife is insanely hot, and he's got some Steel City philosophy that cuts right to my core like a sword.

And I can't deny that I got a little choked up when he became overcome with emotion at the sight of his hero. I hope he gets an autograph! LOL

By increasing and expanding the scouting department this should really help Buffalo. I'm really happy about this. I felt the cut backs in the scouting department really hurt this team even though they have done pretty well in the last couple of drafts with video scouting. All in all I'm happy with the press conference and Terry that he is willing to do whatever he can to make this team win the cup. I'm glad that he wants to Keep Lindy. I'm sure alot don't want Lindy here but if he was let go their would be a handfull of teams that would take him in a heartbeat. I'm just hoping that Darcy now with free reign can actually do what he can to build this team. That's my only thing that worries me about today. Plus when someone asked Terry about does Darcy have to come to you about trades. Hey if I were the owner I would like to know who we are trading away before it is approved. You don't want a GM like Mike Milbury running your team and making moves like the Islanders did without getting them approved. But hey that's just me!

Pegula is geniune, self-deprecating, not very comfortable being in front of all those people, said "Stanley Cup" more in his introductory press conference than I've EVER heard Goli and Quinn say it. He said all the right things, really. Now he just needs to put his money where his mouth is.

If you don't have me on Facebook, I choked and double-clutched on the question I wanted to ask (which NO ONE else went near) - "Even though the current broadcast deal with MSG doesn't expire for five years, might Ted's experience with FSN Pittsburgh possibly lead to a new regional sports network in the future?"
