he was also voted in as captain pretty much as soon as he came to buffalo. and at the time a lot of our players really were still younger, and just lost the only leaders they had known. i'd be willing to bet if they voted for a captain last week, rivet would have been one of the last guys they even considered.


my guess is the C goes to someone you wouldnt entirely guess like Leopold.

I actually agree on Leo. He has been solid for us all year long, and has been productive. I'm not sure how he is in the locker room though but as far as on ice play, I like the idea of Leo wearing a C

he IS the reason for all the MJ after wins. being able to control the radio has got to count for something in the locker room too, right? haha

yea, that's why I mentioned that I didn't know what goes on in the locker room. So all we can really go off of is what we see on the ice, and off ice leadership is really just speculation from our standpoint.
