And regarding this topic, in reality it's not surprising what he did. I know plenty of people who would hate to see a interracial couples, and this isn't just in the South, there are those people up North.

But it is just wrong. No one should be allowed to deny a marriage license. So what if 50% of all marriages fail today, The Children will be fine down the road, many white kids are just fine after their parents split. Guess they shouldn't issue any marriage licenses to anyone, since they know the facts about marriages today.

Also, couldn't they just get another person to issue it and not him? Since I have not been married or thought of it or looked into it since I have no need right now, I do not know?

It is a little different. But not very much. The whole Southern Hospitality thing is true, but that depends on who also.

Rednecks and such are just people who wish the South had won the Civil War. It's never talked about up North but it is still a huge part down here, and the whole Rebel flag thing also.

But in all honesty, it's not too different depending on who you hang around with.

Are there statistics detailing the tolerance of multiracial children amongst different ethnic groups. It doesn't seem a stretch to say that white/black people are less tolerant of interracial children, hell that judge is a perfect example.

My study was on how many multiracial couples stayed together; be it after marriage or after having a child. It wasn't whether or not they made good parents.

He said he was worried about their future children, not whether the couple would stay together. Thus implying, an interracial couple would be inferior parents.
