The Sabres have interest in John-Michael Liles, but the asking price is really high right now...no linkable source, but it's between Buffalo, Leafs, Tampa, and Nashville

35-40points per year from the blue line, instant powerplay help, and improves our pedestrian transition game.

Brian Campbell type player, at a lot less of a cap hit.

I would still consider Liles in a year or so when his current deal runs out, but Andy Greene can be signed this summer for much less with only a slight drop in production.

Penner and Hemsky have similar asking price.
