Really? It seems the perfect word to me...I mean, what fucking team would want to touch him anyways?

Anyone except us.

I wouldn't mind seeing connolly back in the right role and at the right price.

3rd line C for 2.5 mil would be good.

No way in hell he takes a $2M pay cut to stay, unless that's his only option to stay in the NHL.

I'd still rather throw that kinda money at Tyler Kennedy from Pittsburgh and give up the draft pick we would need to on an Offer Sheet...Connolly could succeed elsewhere, but in the North East that is full of punishing defenders, and 3rd and 4th lines that are essentially made up of pure checkers, he's not going to succeed here anymore. Give me a 4 Jochen Hecht's over 4 Tim Connolly's at center.

I doubt he gets more than 3.2 or so mil anywhere next year, but regardless I doubt he stays for any price.

Connoly will be moved at the draft, you can bank on it.

I have a question that I hope someone can answer. I was looking at the cap numbers for other teams and I noticed that Washington and Philadelphia were way over the cap how is this possible?

They're not WAY over, but they're over. Long Term Injury Reserve credits allow you to exceed the cap because that player is unavailable to you.

I'm going to make the most substantial post in this thread. Ready?

Why are we still talking about this?
