Yes, we will.

No Gaborik or Stall, we win 4-1 Boyes has two points.

Between two guys named Drury and Biron, I cannot decide who is dumb and dumber. Winning tonight will make this thought obsolete.

Are you still bitching about a goalie who is injured now and was traded while he was still starter material and a 20 point 7 million dollar guy?

Get over yourself.

No Staal or Gaborik is a very good sign. We need this win and Canes either win or lose for us. We win, they win, they move one point from 7th, we win, they lose, we take 8th.

I advise staying away from the blue men group. That color attracts lost boys.

Gerbe will sit tonight in exchange for Boyes as per Paul Hamilton/WGR.

Fuck that. I was hoping to see Niedermayer in the press box.

ok, i understand roys injury was bad.... is there ANY chance he could return should the sabres make the post season?

dont ask me why, this boyes trade got me extremely excited for a potential decent run. i didnt say a cup finals run, but a first round win kinda run. and ill take that.

Darcy was asked that question yesterday, and the answer was an unequivocal no. Roy couldn't even start to work out until late April, and wouldn't be close to game shape for a couple weeks.

Not going to happen.

bummerama. i know acl tears are an odd kinda injury. you can tear it, and walk without a limp minutes after the injury, making everyone feel like maybe its not that bad.

just excited is all.

Yeah, can't say I agree with Lindy on this one. Maybe he's thinking that if came down to the two of them and he made it known that he was debating over Gerbe or Nieds, that it might light a fire under his damp arse.

I dunno, if it were up to me, I'd sit the elder. Maybe Lindy has a hidden ace? :?

He tore his quad tendon, not ACL.

No prob.

The quad is a bitch. That one you can't really walk on at all. Longer recovery time, longer to before you can start working out, etc.

I still think that if we do indeed make a solid run in the playoffs Roy would make an effort to come back. Even in a 4th line and power play role. He's our third best player behind Vanek and Miller, and even him at 65% is better than Gerbe or Neidermayer at 100%. Just my personal feeling. No link, no source, no citation, no hear say from a friend of a friend of Roys cousins hair dresser.

I'm not sure about it either. The only reasoning I could see behind it is that Lindy might want more size out there tonight? But who really knows.

Does anyone know what the lines are going to be tonight?

As per TBN...

Quote:
NEW YORK -- Greetings from the World's Most Famous Arena, where the Sabres have finished their morning skate (well, everyone except healthy scratch Nathan Gerbe). The Sabres went on early because the Rangers skated elsewhere.

Newcomer Brad Boyes will play on a line with center Tim Connolly and left wing Tyler Ennis tonight against New York. The other lines during practice were: Thomas Vanek-Jochen Hecht-Drew Stafford; Rob Niedermayer-Paul Gaustad-Jason Pominville; and Patrick Kaleta-Cody McCormick-Mike Grier/Nathan Gerbe.

Defenseman Jordan Leopold returned to the ice for the first time since suffering an upper-body injury Friday against Ottawa. He said he is progressing and hopes it will be a short-term absence. He will not play tonight.
