Will Hecht or Connolly be the top line? Vanek/Stafford is our best scoring duo so far.

I think the Connolly line is #2, and the Vanek-Hecht-Stafford line is number 1, but Lindy plans on rolling 3 scoring lines, so the minutes will be pretty close.

There's little hope that the Panthers will beat the Hurricanes tonight, so this is a big game for the Sabres.

14 points on the table:

4 or less = we don't make the playoffs this season
5-8 = still in range, no damage done
9^ = into the top 8, and it will demoralize their competitors

It starts tonight.

What would Italian Spiderman do?

He would slap a Ranger in the face and tell him to make him a macchiato.

Ok boys, off to my buddies house for the game. Good luck Sabres, remember, think positive, negativity kills puppies and shrinks boobies!

Not going to happen.

Exactly, I can't even imagine the work he's gonna have to do to recover from the muscle atrophy. I wouldn't even expect him to be totally right even into the early part of next season. Not that Roy mean to rebuild a "Merriman-like" bulk, but strength, cardio, timing....bringing him back this year is just asking for a Roy to reinjure his quad or get one of those stress related injuries from compensating for the lack of muscle strength.

I expect him to have a slow start next season. I think we tend to expect too much from professional athletes in recovering from injuries. Roy will have 4 months to get right for the start of the season...if he doesn't have a setback. That's a lot to ask for anyone, especially a guy who is a top 2 line guy.

I believe you are correct, today my doctor said that I don't need the crutches anymore. I haven't put any weight on my right leg for 45 days, and when I look at it next to my left left it looks like somebody else's leg. It's going to take a long time to bring it back to the sculpted God-like physique I recognize as my own. :)

I editted it to better represent the situation for them.

I mean it could have been the same way since they would still have to go home to their house, haha.
