Horrible shift by Sekera earlier, he's gonna get scratched again if he keeps over handling the puck like he is often prone to do.

Excellent embellishment by Ennis, I doubt they would have called that if he didn't dive a little.


Time to build up some momentum with this power play, let's see what Boyes can do! Go Sabres! Motor boat this power play!

I got a sense that he make have an iffy game after his first no-look pass earlier in the period.

If we can only get our passing more in sync...we'd be dangerous. We finally get going north/south and we miss so many opportunities passing it behind someone or into their skates. Its like we're so afraid to make that pass a little too long and change an odd-man rush the other way.

We did it pretty well this period, but I guess i was just soooo spoiled watching those 2005- 2007 teams just slicing through teams.

Stafford looked a little awestruck when he got that Vanek pass. And right after that I was a litle awestruck with that backhand pass from Hecht, I didn't think he was even aware that TV would be there but he got the puck to him somehow.

OK, that's just 1 period of hockey. A long way to go, gott pick up the pace in the second, 1 goal wont win it.

Looked like Vanek's pass was just too hard and we wasn't expecting it that quickly.
