Can't wait for it, I got free tickets to the game, no idea where the seats are, but they are free.

Is the old Miller back?

Good overall effort by the guys, but Miller stole that game.

for the past 7 games, he's in peak form.

I really hope Leopold can play Thursday. I know he had a great assist on the Hecht goal, but either he or Montador need to sit. They were brutal for the the majority of the game.

I assume you were drunkingly referring to Sekera? He had one abysmal shift in the 1st and a 2 other less than impressive shifts, but when he doesn't fuck around with the puck he's good. He showed some stoic resolve waiting for that slow motion Montador pass, then he made a brilliant feed to Hecht. Maybe he knew it was a safe gamble because he KNEW his wheels would catch him if he got a piece of the pass, but that is some balls out veteran shit right there. I got a love/hate relationship with Sekera. He's overconfident with his wheels but yet his wheels are tremendous, as long as he doesn't fuck around with the puck too much he'll be fine.

Montador made a couple iffy plays but otherwise he was very good.

Butler will be bumped out, neither of those guys. Interestingly, I think Leopold/Myers is their best bet when he comes back.

I love Sekera...I hate the brain farts he has every game. It usually starts with one of those "no look" passes in his own zone...which happened again in the first . Sekera can't hold the puck along the wall, Montador gets outskated, the Rangers got up a man on a 4-3 and they score on the PP, one of them needs to sit to send a message that that shit can't continue to happen.

We tired out the Rangers in their own end and Sekera kills the zone time with another flub on a pass. Sekera had trouble handling the puck all night.

Several really bad plays in their zone and attempts to clear the puck.

That ice may have been shitty overthere, because I witnessed a puck bounce badly for a Ranger too. I'm not goign to make excuses for Sekera, he had all day and a week to lay down a shin pad, keep it, and make a play. But you know sometimes you don't expect bad bounces like that, so I'm not going to be overly critical either. Shit happens.

I think Sekera's speed compliments Motador's game and I think Motnies veteran savvy compliments Sekera's game. I like that tandem.

I think that Leoplold and Myers could also compliment each others games.

Slappy probably should've said that then.
