Milller is the least of your problems. :)

Be proud of that fucking point, the Sabres pretty much schooled them for 80% of that game, but they didn't make the most of their chances whereas the Canes did. Miller was sharp though, has been for about 10 games in a row.

Miller was not sharp tonight, but neither was the PP, or the d-men in their own zone, or the offense down low, or...

You get my point. It was a bad game all around.

It was a fine game, pretty evenly played if you ask me. Fuck though, Miller's puck control is atrocious. Been saying that all season. I was fucking LIVID on that goal.

Also, anyone notice him leaving the ice FIRST lately? He always used to be the last guy off the ice for superstitious reasons. Guess that wasn't working so he just said fuck it:lol:

Yeah, Miller's puck handling ability is right up there on the same level with Lundqvist's.

Yep. Sure does. That 1.86GAA and .946 save % he had in the last 6 games coming into last night was clearly due to a lack of focus.

yes squanto...RE-focus. He clearly HAS been focused, and last night he was not. Therefore he needs to Re-focus. Not sure why a comment like that needs to be met with hostility and sarcasm.

Review that individual's posting history, and I think you can see why.

Yea, his puck handling cost us that game. Just bad.

Their first goal was a good garbage goal. Defense missed the clear barely and they jammed it in.

It was really a bad game for the team. They could use a little more work clearing the zone though.

Im not saving it was a tough save for miller but he should have had that one.. but his play has been stellar lately so I'm just gonna let that one wash away. I am more of standings guys anyway have you guys noticed the Rangers lately? The are playing shit hockey and have no back up for Lundqvist which has started alot of games in a row. They take on Ottawa tonight and if they lose to me that says that they are going to continue to fall. Also we have 3 games in hand on them and we are 2 points out from them. I have a good feeling if we can pull out some W's the Rags won't.

I disagree. I'm with X-pens on this one. Buffalo played a better game. Miller let one in he shouldn't, but he's earned a mistake or two. Vanek and Stafford both had chances to put in what could have been the winning goal and neither did. One different bounce and the game never even goes to overtime. I'm not too disappointed though because I like 90% of what I saw.

Exactly...wide open shots that should have been buried by both of them....facepalm inducing misses.

Miller may have let in a softie but that game should have never gone to overtime.
Not his fault.

miller fought the puck all night, and he still did fine. a goalie cant be sharp every game, but if hes battling, hes still an effective goaltender.

Not many goalies are great at handling the puck. There are a few that I think are good (Brodeur), but when I watch other games I notice that most of them don't make wise decisions or get caught out of position because they tried to handle the puck. Sabres fans naturally notice Miller's mistakes more and escalate it as if he's the only goalie who doesn't know how to handle the puck.

Hasek got caught out of the net trying to handle the puck all the time. However he stopped the puck better than anyone ever, so I could handle his puck-handling mistakes. Miller gets a free pass to a certain extent too, but I wouldn't want him to get into any Hasekesque habits of coming out of the net.

The team looked pretty good, but they were lacking in areas. We had TWO power plays late in the game that we couldn't finish on after failing to score on the 3 we had earlier in the game.

I mean come on. That's where your offensive stars have to get it done. Two power plays in the last 10 minutes of the third with the game tied?

FUCK!

Yea the 0 and 5 on the PP was a huge missed chance by the Sabres. Too bad Vanek couldn't get the puck back onto the forehand on his missed shot.
