It's a phrase that basically means, if you wanna see the Sabres at the top, turn the rankings.

Ok. I'm trying really really hard to be positive. But once again they fail to lose a game that would have actually gotten them into the top 8. Honestly they've done this a few times this season it pisses me off. Am I giving up? Absolutely not. But this is like the 3rd game they've blown that would have put them in the top 8 (redundancy alert on my part). And Miller giving up that goal is inexcusable. Sekera actually did his job in front of the net and lifted Staal's stick giving Miller full view of the shot. That was a soft goal when all we needed was a simple save. As a starting goalie, that's unacceptable.

If I had decided to jerk off instead, I probably wouldn't be paying child support...

The second goal was all on Miller, his fault completely that game was tied at 2. The First goal was a garbage goal that Buffalo never gets breaks on.

The playing of the puck was just not acceptable and he took full responsibility for his mistake.

I was ridiculously negative after the game (ask Squanto and PSP), but even since I've calmed down, it's hard to ignore the positives. The forecheck continues to impress and the transition wasn't as good as it's been lately but it's still good. And Miller allowing that goal in OT, the only really bad thing about that goal was that it was in OT.

Sabres are 3-0-2 in their last five and actually have 3 games in hand on 8th place instead of just 2 now, and are still only 2 points back. It's still not a bad position to be in. If NYR loses tomorrow in regulation, the Sabres can still take 8th place with a win any way on Saturday vs PHI.

well, I was about to come here and post about how i'm seriously torn, because my record since being in raleigh is 0-5 at RBC center, and we could REALLY use these points, so even though i've got tickets and plans with friends, i'm pondering skipping, which the rational portion of my brain thinks is fucking ridiculous.

Then I read the first three pages of the thread, and I think there isn't a single thing I could say that is more retarded than what has already happened, so I guess i'll go ahead and post it.

Sky, me and my people will be in 315, if I can bring myself to be seen in it in public, i'll be wearing a 69 away jersey with 'Gould' on the back. No, I didnt pick 69 as my number. What section you in?

I actually saw you, my tickets were 315 Row A so I was right on the edge of the upper deck.

I mean I obviously didn't go up to you, but did see you.

WTG/WTF Miller. Just because you play a full 60 minutes in regulation does not mean your brain falls asleep in overtime.

I agree with everything you said but I caution the ease with which you said a win over PHI.....they are fucking great.

I didn't realize that a goalie who didn't get all of a puck shot through a triple screen was falling asleep.

We actually weren't sitting in 315 I don't think, because the row we sat in was the very first row on the upper deck, which was A, but it stretched from 313-314-315, but that's where the guy told us to sit, so whatever.
