It wasn't like a bang bang quick play. It too several seconds to develop and Miller was pretty squared up to the shooter so the defense of him not being in position is mute

Two goals against Miller tonight were really great shots. A shooting standing there has a TON of net to look at, even if Miller is square to the shooter. He picked a corner. Not a whole lot that can be done about that.

Of course, it's much simpler to just bitch and moan that he should have made the save and be stupid. That's fashionable these days.

(Sorry you're getting the brunt of my anger on this, but it's getting fucking moronic, and I'm done being silent about it.)

I think if anything THAT goal is when you can rightly say that most other goalies in the NHL wouldn't have performed any better instead of using that logic to address his giveaway on Thursday.

Wish I knew why Weber was sitting today. I'm also in favor of sitting Nieds and having Sekera at forward. Shit Niedermayer is farking useless!

Whatever. Get over yourself.

You get all pissed off and bitch when anyone is critical of Vanek, right or wrong, yet take every opportunity to jump on anyone who offers a defense of Miller, right or wrong.

if you are out of position, you are out of position.

i honestly didnt see the play, but i trust your judgment. even if you are squared up and ready, if someone shoots from that close, and they hit an open spot, they hit the net. to suggest its "weak" in that scenario is stupid.

Montador is a +2 with no points and tied for the team lead in hits (3) with Gaustad.

Which goal against is even being debated right now? I'm confused.

If the criticisms are valid, I have no issue. I don't argue comments about Vanek's consistency and when he's being an asshat, I call him an asshat. I don't say, well lots of other scorers in the NHL go multiple games without a point.

thats the thing though... gerbe IS a center. putting gerbe at center shouldn't be an issue.

I'll play center, even though I'm a natural right side d-man, if it means sitting Niedermayer.

steps to having a good stream for the rest of the season:

1. make a twitter account
2. follow BSN360 on twitter
3. make a justin.tv account
4. the streams will be posted on BSN360's twitter feed.

PROS:
- it's an MSG feed (all the rick and harry you could ever want/need)
- it's decent quality
- it's pretty reliable

CONS:
- broadcaster speaks over the broadcast sometimes
- he bounces around sometimes to kick out windowlickers, but he'll tell you via twitter where he's going.

i don't know if doing this is against the C4C or not. if it is just delete away.

Gerbe is a winger. It's how he succeeded at BC, in Portland, and it's what he plays now.

I was talking about the goal that Timmonen just scored, but I think Alex is referring back to the Carolina game when Miller mishandled the puck for some reason.

I continue to be impressed with Sekera's stickhandling on that third goal. Twas a work of art. I don't know if many guys on the team can pull that off save for Ennis. We've certainly seen Vanek fuck up his fair share of wraparounds.

I'll have to relay that to my girlfriend who doesn't own a TV. Good info.
