I say Marty vs. Lalime...the battle of the backups

Sabres better win this one.

I'm gonna go ahead and say 'Sabres better win both of these' because in order to really make their stamp, they need to win back-to-back games against bottom-dwelling opponents instead of playing down to them and laying an egg.

The day of the Red Wings game, TSN had the Sabres ranked #6 in their power rankings. Provided the team provides two wins this weekend, I'd expect to see them climb even higher.

I don't know how this system fits with back to back games... I hope it does well though and doesn't tire out our superstars that much... it is early in the season too

Sabres route the Isles 5-1.

Kennedy and Myers get their first NHL goals.

So what does Lindy know about goalie rotations that Phil and I don't?

This kind of makes me feel like Lindy is going to play Ryan again tomorrow :naughty:
I haven't agreed with the Goalie usage for the past two years (at least), so I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

I'm not disappointed at all that Paille is getting a shot.

Yeah, I'm very happy to see Paille, and hope Lindy goes with Lalime vs Atlanta on Sat. Better to find out early if Patty can play than to be stuck with him down the stretch if he can't.

Mike Grier once challenged Lance Armstrong in a "Who has more testicles?" contest. Grier won by 5.

I have no doubt that Patty will start tomorrow night. I firmly believed going into this weekend that Miller would only play one game.

By the sounds of things it'll be Roli the goalie in nets for the Isles tonight.

Hear that Timmy C? Roy? Shoot them pucks and shoot them high!!!!

Do you sport that obnoxious accent with the hard "g" at the end of words ending in "ing"? Just askin'...
