I'm diggin the fact that as he's jacking up the points, he's doing it in a very unselfish way. He could shoot every time he gets the puck if he wants and he's always looking for that open guy. Granted, it can also work against you but I find he is seeing the ice really well and making the right calls when he needs to.

That being said, I want to see him net a hatty tonight for all them Gopher fans in attendance.

Also, nice to see pommer finding that late season push that we always see!

Thank God Lorentz is gone, or we'd have to hear his shit every time he didn't shoot it.

I wish Vanek would shoot more. I would play the pass more than the shot if I were covering him. I like when he delays and sets up a rebound chance if he doesn't bury the puck.

I wish he'd shoot more, but that play on the goal was the right play. Even if the puck doesn't go in, the shot that they got off was high percentage. Tremendous vision and anticipation on that play.

All he has to do is dip his shoulder and skaters and netminders freeze. If he gets a half decent opportunity...he should shoot and aim for a spot or rebound opportunity, especially when playing netminders who are known for coughing up pucks. As soon as they sense a netminder fighting the puck...the play should be a shot from Vanek if he's got the puck....in most cases.

Not as boring a game as I predicted, so far. The Wild are REALLY devoid of talent. It's kind of lame watching them in the o-zone.

It would be a good investment for Vanek to invite all his friends for each game, he's playing like a beast tonight.

Wasn't that around the same time he was using some kind of hair product? Maybe he should go back on it ;)

Side note, every time RJ Says Stoner's name I can't help but
